Weddings

Imagine stepping out of your hotel on Central Park South and taking a 5-minute horse and carriage ride through Central Park, only to arrive at the front steps of our sanctuary.

Imagine celebrating your marriage surrounded by stained glass, mosaics, followed by a cocktail hour on our front stoop on Central Park West.

Imagine wedding photos along the Mall, Literary Walk, and Bethesda Terrace in Central Park, then a short walk to your reception at Tavern on the Green or Robert.

We can provide all that — and much more — at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on Central Park West. To start a conversation, please reach out to our wedding coordinator Jeremy Friedland at weddings@holytrinitynyc.org.

Why get married at Holy Trinity?

Here are a few reasons couples choose to celebrate their marriage with us.

An historic space

Celebrate your marriage in our neo-Gothic sanctuary (built in 1904), surrounded by beautiful mosaics, priceless stained glass, a grand piano, and an expertly-crafted pipe organ.

A convenient location

Our cathedral is located on Central Park West — a quick walk from hotels, public transportation, and attractions like Tavern on the Green, Bethesda Terrace, and Lincoln Center.

A flexible venue

Our sanctuary seats up to 350 guests, and you can host cocktail hour on our front steps facing Central Park. Our air-conditioned Community Room offers extra space that can be used as a dressing room or green room, or for a rehearsal dinner or your reception.

An all-inclusive fee

Since Holy Trinity is an active congregation, the officiant, musician, ceremony planning meetings, live streaming support, and all other staff are all included in the venue fee — plus you get the bragging rights of having been married in the Ghostbusters church!
